There are several ways of taking aerial photographs depending upon needs, location and budget. So why choose us?

We can get photos from angles that are impossible or contrived using other methods (see table below)

Fully Trained staff giving you faith in our skills and integrity. Our Photo Pilots carry various Certificates between them should you need them such as CRB checking and CSCS card-carriers. Just ask should this be a requirement and we will ensure that your Pilot will have the relevant paperwork that you need.

We want you to be pleased with your results, so are very flexible in accommodating your needs whilst on site. (Subject to staying safe, of course)

Platform	Why a Draganflyer X6 is better
Helicopter or fixed-wing aeroplane (with pilot and photographer)	The cost of an X6 is a fraction of the cost of a full size craft We can get low level and close-up shots Some areas (e.g. near major airfields) it is impossible to fly recreationally in a full-size craft
Tethered balloons and kites	The tether point is determined by wind direction which could change, the point might not be accessible or on third party land. We can take off from pretty much anywhere and fly to position To get a shot at a different angle, a tether needs to be wound in and re deployed each time. We just fly there! A fixed tether means that it takes static pictures only - no flight path shots. We can fly a predetermined route with ease Height restrictions mean that kites can fly no higher than 60m, which reduces to 30m around airport airspace. The Draganflyer can climb to 125 metres in the UK if needed If you are considering using a tethered craft, look at their portfolio and look at the angles that you want. Why compromise on angles when you can get whatever you want with a Draganflyer?
Fixed masts	To get a shot at a different angle, the mast needs to be retracted and re deployed each time. We just fly there! A fixed mast means that it takes static pictures only - no flight path shots. We can fly a predetermined route with ease A mast is limited in its choice of angles as the base needs firm ground (manicured lawns, flowerbeds and lakes are out for instance). We float like a butterfly above anywhere with ease. If you are considering using a mast, look at their portfolio and look at the angles that you want. Why compromise on angles when you can get whatever you want with a Draganflyer?
Remote Controlled aeroplanes and helicopters	Helicopters are inherently unstable and so need more concentration to fly. A Draganflyer, once in position, can be left with no hands on the controls as onboard GPS and barometric height sensors keep it in one place Aeroplanes cannot stay in one place, they have to keep flying around. A Draganflyer locks in position. Petrol-powered helicopters and planes are noisy and emit exhaust gases. A Draganflyer is electric powered and virtually silent with no emissions.

Remember

If it's tethered or a ground-based fixed mast, then you will always be limited in the angles that you can take photographs from and the images may appear contrived or distorted as a consequence.
Only an unmanned UAV can be deployed anywhere that there is some airspace without restriction saving you time, money and actually getting the photographs that you want at the angles that you want. Don't be persuaded otherwise!
Make sure that if you hire a flying platform (UAV, helicopter etc) that it is Certified by the Civil Aviation Authority for Aerial Photography work.
